  • 500 g Spaghetti
  • 2 (approx. 500 g) Rib eye or rump steaks
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Whipped cream
  • 50 g Parmesan (piece)

Directions

  1. 1

Peel and halve the onion and cut into fine strips. Wash and roughly dice the tomatoes. Bring 4-5 l salt water (1 teaspoon salt per litre) to the boil.

  2. 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a wide saucepan. Sauté the onion strips for about 2 minutes. Deglaze with vodka. Add the diced tomatoes and steam briefly. Add the tomatoes, bring everything to the boil. Season with salt, pepper and 1 pinch of sugar.

  3. 3

Simmer at low to medium heat for 10-15 minutes.

  4. 4

Clean and wash the broccoli and cut it into very small florets. Peel and chop the broccoli stems. Cook pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Cook broccoli for 2-3 minutes.

  5. 5

In the meantime, pat the meat dry and cut into very thin strips. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in portions in a large frying pan. Fry the meat in the oil for about 2 minutes, turning it over.

  6. 6

Season with salt and pepper. Take it out.

  7. 7

Stir the cream into the tomato sauce, bring to the boil briefly and season to taste again. Drain the pasta and broccoli and put them back into the pot. Mix with the tomato sauce. Arrange noodles, spread steak strips on the noodles.
