Wash the chicken and pat dry. Rub the inside and outside with salt and pepper. Place on a greased baking tray. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 60 minutes.
Mix chili, cardamom and nutmeg in oil and lime juice. Spread the chicken with the mixture at intervals for the last 1/2 hour. Meanwhile cook rice in boiling salted water for about 20 minutes.
Clean broccoli, wash it and cut it into small florets. Cook in boiling salted water for 8 minutes, drain. Add rice, broccoli, almonds and cinnamon sticks to the baking tray for the last 10 minutes.
Arrange the chicken with rice and vegetables on a plate. Serve garnished with slices of lime, chillies and parsley.
