Ingredients

Servings: 18
  • 150 g Leeks (leek)
  • 100 g Carrots
  • 50 g Mung bean sprouts
  • 2 TABLESPOONS roasted peanut kernels
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS Sambal Oelek
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Soy sauce
  • 100 g smoked salmon, sliced
  • 3 Spring onions
  • 175 g Double cream cream cheese
  • 2 TEASPOONS medium hot mustard
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 3 packs (400 g each) fresh baked pizza dough (yeast dough with olive oil; rolled out rectangularly on baking paper ready to bake; 37 x 25 cm; refrigerated shelf)
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chili Flakes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper

Directions

  1. 1

Clean the leek, halve lengthwise and cut into fine strips. Peel carrots and cut into fine sticks. Wash the sprouts and let them drip off. Coarsely chop peanuts. Heat oil in a pan. Sauté the carrots for about 1 minute. Add leek and fry for about 1 minute more. Add sprouts, sambal oelek, peanuts and soy sauce. Remove from heat and let cool off

  2. 2

Cut salmon into strips. Clean and wash spring onions and cut into fine rings. Stir cream cheese with mustard until smooth. Mix in salmon and spring onions, season with pepper. Remove the pizza dough from the packaging and roll out. Cut 6 circles (each 12 cm Ø) out of each dough sheet using the dough pocket cutter. Place each circle of dough on the flour-dusted dough pocket former. Put some filling on one side, fold the mould and press it firmly together. Results in approx. 10 Asia pockets and approx. 8 salmon pockets. Divide the dumplings between 3 baking trays lined with baking paper

  3. 3

Whisk the egg. Spread the dumplings with it. Sprinkle chili flakes on Asian dumplings. Dust salmon pockets with flour. Form pizza sticks from the remaining dough and spread them on the trays. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 225 °C/ convection oven: 200 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) one after the other for 10-12 minutes. Sweet-hot chilli sauce tastes good with it
