Slices of bread with tomato

Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • some stem(s) Basil
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 50 g Butter
  • 12 discs Italian
  • 7-10 Tbsp French bread
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 40 g Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Clean the tomatoes, carve them crosswise, stir briefly in boiling water, rinse with cold water and peel the skin. Seed the tomatoes and cut them into cubes. Wash the basil. Pluck off leaves (put something aside for garnishing) and cut into strips. Mix tomato cubes and basil strips. Peel garlic, chop finely and mix with butter.

    Lightly toast slices of bread and let them cool down. Spread bread with butter and cover with tomato cubes. Sprinkle with pepper. Coarsely slice Parmesan cheese and sprinkle over the tomatoes. Garnish with basil
