Sliced melon with strawberries

Ingredients

  • 500 g Strawberries
  • 1 TABLESPOON Sugar
  • 1 package Bourbon vanilla sugar or
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 5 TABLESPOONS red
  • 7-10 Tbsp Currant juice
  • 4-5 Tbsp Lime or
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 Sugar melon (750 g;
  • 7-10 Tbsp z. cantaloupe or Charantais melon)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar for the
  • 7-10 Tbsp Dusting
  • 7-10 Tbsp Slices of lime
  • 7-10 Tbsp and balm for decorating

Directions

    Wash the strawberries and dab dry. Clean the fruits and cut into thin slices. Sprinkle strawberries with sugar and vanilla sugar. 2. drizzle currant and lime or lemon juice over the fruits. Cover and leave to stand for approx. 30 minutes

    In the meantime, cut the melon in half and scrape out the seeds with a tablespoon. Cut the melon into thick slices

    Arrange the melon slices with the strawberries and sauce on 4 dessert plates. Dust with icing sugar. Decorate with lime slices and lemon balm leaves. Wafer rolls go well with it. Add the rest of the melon
