Sliced beef with rice

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 200 g Rice (e.g. Basmati rice)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 (approx. 250 g) red pepper
  • 1 Stalk leek (leek)
  • 1 can(s) (425 ml) Mango
  • 600 g Beef (e.g. rump steak)
  • 70 g Mung bean sprouts
  • 20 g fresh ginger or 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1 TEASPOON Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 150 g Asia spice sauce
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Soy sauce

Directions

    Cook the rice in boiling salted water for 15-18 minutes. Clean and wash the vegetables. Cut pepper into strips, leek into rings. Drain mango and cut into slices. Cut meat into fine slices.

    Sort the sprouts and let them drain. Peel ginger and grate finely. Heat oil. Brown the meat in portions. Season. Remove meat. Fry vegetables in hot frying fat. Add 1/4 litre of water, bring to the boil and stir in the stock. Add ginger and steam for about 5 minutes. Add asia sauce, meat and mango and cook for 2 minutes.
