Schnitzel casserole with feta cheese

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4 thin pork schnitzel (about 200 g each)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 200 g Sheep's cheese
  • 4 Meat Tomatoes
  • 75 g green olives stuffed with paprika
  • 1/2 bunch Thyme
  • 7-10 Tbsp coarsely ground coloured pepper

Directions

    Dab schnitzel dry and cut in half. Fry in 2 tablespoons of hot oil on both sides for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Cut cheese into slices. Clean and wash the tomatoes and also cut them into slices. Cut olives in half.

    Pluck the thyme leaves from the stalks. Put the schnitzel, cheese and tomatoes in layers in an ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with olives and thyme. Mix the remaining oil with the frying fat and pour over the casserole. Sprinkle with coloured pepper and bake in a preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 15 minutes
