Ingredients

  • 1 kg Lammkeule
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 20 g clarified butter
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp coarse pepper
  • 1 can(s) (850 ml) Sauerkraut
  • 400 g Potatoes
  • 2 red peppers

Directions

    Remove meat from the bone, wash, dab dry and dice. Peel onions and cut into fine cubes. Heat clarified butter in a pot and fry the meat and onion cubes in portions. Season with salt and pepper and add 3/8 litres of water. Add sauerkraut and braise at medium heat for about 1 hour.

    Peel, wash and chop the potatoes. Clean, wash and cut the peppers into fine strips. Add the potatoes to the meat 20 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Season to taste again
