Sardine-pepper pie (Sardine-Rillettes)

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 red pepper
  • 150 g dried tomatoes, in oil
  • 2 tin(s) (120 g each) Sardines, in oil
  • 175 g Herb cream cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp Juice of 1 lime
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 6 stalks of chives

Directions

    Clean, wash and chop the peppers. Drain tomatoes and sardines. Finely puree the tomatoes, peppers and cream cheese. Add the sardines and also puree finely. Season to taste with lime juice, salt and pepper.

    Wash the chives, dab dry. Cut one part into small rolls. Garnish cream with chives. Roast bread tastes good with it
