Saithe with parmesan crust on tomato pasta

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 package (370 g) Tomato sauce with herbs
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 2 packages (250 g each) fresh tagliatelle pasta (refrigerator)
  • 500 g Saithe fillet
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 40 g Butter
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Breadcrumbs
  • 7-10 Tbsp dried marjoram
  • 1/2 bunch Parsley
  • 30 g grated parmesan cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp Marjoram

Directions

    Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a saucepan. Fry the onion and garlic in it. Add the tomato sauce, pour in the stock and bring to the boil. Add pasta and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes.

    Wash the fish, pat dry and cut into 4 pieces, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with lemon juice. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Brown the fish pieces on both sides and take them out.

    Melt butter in a small pot, stir in breadcrumbs and dried marjoram. Take it off the stove. Wash the parsley, shake dry and pluck the leaves from the stalks. Chop the parsley finely.

    Add parsley and parmesan to the crumb mixture. Fill the pasta into portion moulds and place the fish pieces on top. Spread the breadcrumb mixture over the fish. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 10 minutes.

    Possibly garnish with marjoram.
