Romaine lettuce with apple

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 small apples
  • 200 g Celery
  • 1 Rocket salad
  • 3 discs Toast
  • 20 g Butter or margarine
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Fruit vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper

Directions

    Wash, quarter and core the apples. Cut apple quarters into slices. Clean, wash and cut celery into pieces. Clean, wash and cut romaine lettuce into strips. Cut toast into cubes and fry in hot fat until crispy brown.

    Season vinegar with salt and pepper. Whip the oil into it. Mix the salad ingredients with the marinade and sprinkle croutons over it.
