Ingredients

  • 1 kg Red cabbage
  • 4 Twigs Thyme
  • 1 Onion
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 150 ml Cider vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 50 g Sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 bunch Spring onion
  • 200 g Sheep's cheese
  • 2 Apples

Directions

    Clean the red cabbage and slice into fine strips. Wash the thyme and shake dry. Pluck off the leaves. Chop onion finely. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pot.

    Sauté the onion until transparent. Deglaze with vinegar, rest of oil and 100 ml water. Add thyme, bring to the boil and pour over the red cabbage. Mix well, season with salt, pepper and sugar. Leave to stand for about 2 hours. Roast sunflower seeds in a pan without fat until golden brown. Clean and wash the spring onions and cut them into diagonal strips. Crumble the feta cheese. Wash, quarter and core apples. Cut into slices.
