Ingredients

  • 1 pack of (450 g; 6 slices) deep-frozen puff pastry
  • 75 g unsalted peanut kernels
  • 150 g Bacon
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper

Directions

    Defrost 3 slices of puff pastry on top of each other. Grind or finely chop the peanuts. Halve bacon lengthwise. Roll out the dough to two rectangles (12x20 cm) on a lightly floured work surface. Cut each rectangle into strips (1.5x20 cm) and brush with whisked egg yolk.

    Place a piece of bacon on top of each and twist each strip spirally. Brush with egg yolk again and sprinkle with peanuts. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and refrigerate for about 15 minutes. Then bake in a preheated oven (electric: 225 ° C/ gas: level 4) for 10-12 minutes. Serve with dried banana chips and peanut butter
