Sort the spinach and wash thoroughly. Drain. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Fry with the spinach in hot oil. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Peel and wash the potatoes and cut into fine slices. Wash and halve the tomatoes. Layer potato slices, spinach and tomatoes in a small gratin dish. Season with salt and pepper. Mix cream and milk, pour on and sprinkle with crumbled cheese. Bake in the oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 45 minutes
