Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 1 packet of mashed potato powder
  • 7-10 Tbsp with milk
  • 1 TEASPOON Butter or margarine
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated nutmeg
  • 50 g medieval Gouda cheese
  • 1 Egg
  • 50 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 kg Frying fat

Directions

    Mix the mashed potato powder with 2/3 of the prescribed amount of water. Stir in fat, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Grate cheese finely and stir in as well. Let the dough cool down a little and then form small balls.

    Whisk the egg. Turn the balls first in egg and then in breadcrumbs. Heat the frying fat and fry the balls in portions until golden brown. Serve hot or cold
