Plum-Vanilla-Trifle with crunchy flakes

Ingredients

  • 1 package Pudding powder "Vanilla flavour" (for cooking)
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 400 ml Milk
  • 250 g Mascarpone
  • 1 kg Plums
  • 1 1/2 packs (140 g each) Crunchy flakes (milk chocolate with crispbread)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cling film

Directions

    Mix pudding powder with 75 g sugar and stir with 100 ml milk until smooth. Boil 300 ml milk in a pot. Stir the pudding powder into the boiling milk, bring to the boil and simmer for about 1 minute.

    Take it off the stove. Stir in the mascarpone. Pour into a bowl, cover directly on the surface with foil and allow to cool.

    Wash, halve and stone the plums. Caramelise 125 g sugar in a pan until golden brown. Add the plums and simmer over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, turning several times.

    Remove from the stove and let it cool down.

    Stir the pudding until smooth. Lay the plums, pudding cream and crunchy flakes alternately in a glass bowl. Keep cool until serving.
