Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 collar Spring onions
  • 100 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 4 (400 g each) kitchen-ready plaice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 3-4 Tbsp Flour
  • 60 g Butter or margarine
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sesame
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon slices and dill

Directions

    Clean and wash the spring onions. Finely dice bacon and onions. Wash the plaice thoroughly under cold running water and dab dry. Rub with salt and turn in flour. Heat the fat in large pans and fry the plaice for 5 minutes on each side.

    In the meantime, fry the bacon until crispy. Add spring onions and sesame seeds and fry briefly. Arrange plaice on plates, add bacon mixture and garnish with lemon slices and dill.
