Ingredients

Servings: 12
  • 3 Apples
  • 150 g Butter or margarine
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch(es) Salt
  • 2 Eggs (Gr. M)
  • 1 package/s Pudding powder "Vanilla flavour" (for cooking)
  • 250 g Flour
  • 3 teaspoons, gestr. Baking Powder
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar

Directions

    Peel and quarter the apples, cut out the core and dice the pulp.

    Whisk the fat, sugar and salt with the whisk of the hand mixer until white-creamy. Stir in the eggs one after the other.

    Mix pudding powder, flour and baking powder. Alternately fold the flour mixture and milk into the dough. Fold apples into the dough. Pour the dough into a greased springform pan (26 cm Ø) sprinkled with flour and smooth it down. Bake the cake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 45 minutes.

    Remove the cake from the oven, let it cool on a cake rack and remove from the mould. Dust with icing sugar.
