Pickled pumpkin

Ingredients

  • 2 kg Pumpkin (1,5 peeled)
  • 1 l White wine vinegar
  • 500 g Sugar
  • 1 TEASPOON Cloves
  • 100 g Raisins
  • 100 g peeled almonds

Directions

    Peel the pumpkin and remove the seeds. Dice flesh. Boil up vinegar, sugar and cloves. Cook the pumpkin in the stock in portions for about 5 minutes. Fill pumpkin pieces, raisins and almonds into prepared glasses.

    Boil up the stock well and pour hot on the pumpkin. Close glasses well and store in a dark place.
