Pickled peppers in olive oil with garlic

Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 4 red peppers
  • 150 ml Olive oil
  • 10 Garlic cloves
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper

Directions

    Clean, wash and cut the peppers into pieces. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan, place the peppers with the outside in the pan and fry for about 3 minutes. Remove the bell peppers from the pan and let them cool down.

    In the meantime, peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press. Peel the skin from the peppers. Layer the peppers in an ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic. Pour the rest of the olive oil over the peppers and leave to soak for about 5 hours.

    Arrange the peppers on a plate and pour the olive oil over them.
