Peach and apple jam

Ingredients

  • 600 g Peaches
  • 600 g sour apples
  • 7-10 Tbsp (together gives 1 kg of prepared fruit)
  • 30 g fresh ginger
  • 500 g Extra gelling sugar
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice

Directions

    Carve peaches crosswise and blanch briefly in boiling water. Drain, rinse and skin off. Halve the fruit and remove stones. Dice the flesh. Peel, quarter, core and dice apples.

    Peel and finely dice the ginger. Mix everything in a saucepan with sugar and lemon juice. Bring to the boil while stirring constantly and then boil for 1 minute until bubbly. Pour hot into clean glasses and close them immediately.

    Makes about 4 glasses of 450 g each.
