Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 100 g streaky bacon
  • 1 kg Vegetable Onions
  • 30 g clarified butter
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 300 g cherry tomatoes (alternatively small tomatoes)
  • 3 Stem(s) Basil
  • 150 g mild Havarti cheese (Tilsiter)

Directions

    Cut the bacon into fine strips. Peel onions and cut into rings. Heat the fat in a pan. Fry bacon strips in it until crispy. Add onions and fry for about 10 minutes while turning.

    Season with salt, pepper and paprika. In the meantime wash and halve the tomatoes. Wash basil, pluck leaves and cut finely. Put the tomatoes and basil in the pan and toss briefly.

    Grate the cheese and sprinkle over it. Cover and let it melt for about 5 minutes. Garnish with basil.
