Nut Muesli Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/4 l Milk
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 1 cube (42 g) Yeast
  • 500 g Flour
  • 260 g cubed butter or margarine
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 100 g Hazelnut flakes
  • 100 g Chocolate muesli
  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and flour

Directions

    Warm up a little milk and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Dissolve yeast in it. Put the flour in a bowl and press a depression into it. Add the yeast mixture, dust with a little flour and leave to rise in a warm place for about 15 minutes until the flour shows cracks. Add the rest of the milk, 50 g sugar, 60 g fat, egg and salt and work into a smooth dough with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Pour the dough into a greased and floured springform pan (26 cm Ø) and let it rise again, covered, for about 30 minutes.

    Then bake in a preheated oven (electric: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 30-35 minutes. In the meantime melt the remaining fat in a pot. Mix nuts and muesli. After about 10 minutes baking time, sprinkle the cake with the nut and muesli mixture and the remaining sugar. Sprinkle with the fat and finish baking. Take out the cake, let it cool down and cut it into approx. 24 pieces
