Mushrooms in marjoram broth

Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg Mushrooms
  • 1/4 l Herb vinegar (or wine vinegar)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Salt
  • 6 Bay leaves
  • 2 TEASPOONS white peppercorns
  • 1 collar Marjoram
  • 1 package Preserving aid (or 2.5 g sorbic acid from the pharmacy)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Olive oil (or other edible oil)

Directions

    Clean the mushrooms and wash them thoroughly. Bring vinegar, 1/4 litre water, sugar, salt, bay leaf, pepper and marjoram to the boil. Add the mushrooms and cook for about 10 minutes. Stir in the preserving aid and pour everything into prepared glasses.

    Add oil and close the glasses tightly.
