Mozzarella packet on spinach with herb ciabatta

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 500 g Baby Spinach
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 (125 g each) balls of mozzarella cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 4 discs Black Forest ham
  • 2 wide pieces of ciabatta bread (à approx. 5 cm wide; approx. 120 g)
  • 40 g Herb Butter
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated nutmeg

Directions

    Wash and sort the spinach and let it drain. Peel garlic and onion, dice finely. Drain the mozzarella and season with pepper. Cut in half lengthwise and wrap each piece with a slice of ham

    Halve the bread pieces once crosswise and spread with the herb butter. Put the bread in a hot pan with the cut surface facing down. Roast at medium heat until golden brown. Turn the bread over and fry it briefly from the other side, take it out. Put 1 tablespoon of oil into the hot pan and fry the mozzarella parcels for 2-3 minutes

    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a saucepan and sauté the onion and garlic. Add spinach and 2 tablespoons of water. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg, cover and allow to fall together. Season to taste again. Arrange spinach with mozzarella and bread
