Mozzarella packet on leaf spinach

Ingredients

  • 1 kg young leaf spinach
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 (125 g each) Balls Mozzarella
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt and pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Nutmeg
  • 4 discs Black Forest ham
  • 2 thick slices of ciabatta (each about 5 cm wide)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Herb Butter
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil

Directions

    Sort the spinach, wash and drain. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Drain mozzarella balls, season with pepper. Halve each lengthwise, wrap with ham.

    Cut open the ciabatta. Spread with herb butter. Put it in a hot pan with the cut side down and roast it until golden brown. Turn the bread, roast it briefly and take it out.

    Fry the onion and garlic in 1 tablespoon of hot oil. Add spinach dripping wet in portions. Cover the spinach and let it collapse and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a hot frying pan. Fry the mozzarella parcels for 1-2 minutes on each side. Serve with spinach and herb ciabatta.
