Ingredients

  • 1/2 bunch Thyme
  • 1/2 bunch Basil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 500 g mixed minced meat
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Tomato paste
  • 500 g waxy potatoes
  • 2 Courgettes (about 150 g each)
  • 2 Tomatoes (about 100 g each)
  • 20 g Butter or margarine
  • 20 g Flour
  • 350 ml Milk
  • 1 TEASPOON Instant vegetable stock
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated nutmeg
  • 100 g Parmesan cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp fresh herbs

Directions

    Wash the thyme and basil, dab dry and chop finely. Peel onion and garlic and chop finely. Heat the oil and sauté the onion and garlic. Add the minced meat and fry well. Season with salt, pepper and herbs.

    Stir in tomato paste. Peel and wash the potatoes and cut them into thin slices. Wash and clean zucchini and tomatoes, also cut into slices. Heat the fat. Sweat flour in it. Add milk while stirring and bring to the boil. Season with broth, pepper and nutmeg. Layer potatoes, minced meat, sauce and vegetables in an ovenproof casserole dish. Finish with a few slices of potatoes and vegetables and some béchamel sauce. Grate the cheese finely and sprinkle over it.

    Add milk while stirring and bring to the boil. Season with broth, pepper and nutmeg. Layer potatoes, minced meat, sauce and vegetables in an ovenproof casserole dish. Finish with a few slices of potatoes and vegetables and some béchamel sauce. Grate the cheese finely and sprinkle over it. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for about 45 minutes. Serve garnished with fresh herbs
