Ingredients

  • 175 g Honey
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 50 g Butter
  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 TEASPOON Baking Powder
  • 1 TABLESPOON Cocoa powder
  • 1 TEASPOON Gingerbread spice
  • 1 package Orange-Back
  • 2 Protein (size M)
  • 400-500 g Icing sugar
  • 2 Bag of small liquorice sticks
  • 2 (75 g each) Jelly-currants bag
  • 7-10 Tbsp some colourful drops
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cotton wool
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cling film
  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Freezer bag

Directions

    Boil up honey, sugar and butter while stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Leave to cool. Mix flour, baking powder, cocoa, spice mixture and orange-back and stir into the honey. Wrap the dough in foil and let it rest for 1 hour

    Cutting templates to size. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to a thickness of about 1/2 cm and cut out according to the template. Cut out the top, side and front parts 2 times. Cut out a door and a window at the front. Cut out the sloping chimney part also 2 x. Cut cookies out of the remaining dough. Put the dough on a greased and floured baking tray and bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 10-15 minutes depending on the size. Take out and let cool down

    Whisk the egg white with the whisk of the hand mixer and stir in the icing sugar. Pour the icing into a small freezer bag and cut off a small corner. Coat the edges of the house with it. Put the house together and let it dry. Glue the chimney together as well and put it on the house, stick cotton wool on it. Decorate the edge with egg white and decorate the house with the sweets as you like. Pour the rest of the icing into a piping bag with a star nozzle and spray icicles on the roof. Decorate fir trees as well and dust the house with icing sugar
