Ingredients

  • 1 Bread roll (from the previous day)
  • 4 Onions
  • 1-2 Garlic cloves
  • 125 g Spring onions
  • 600 g mixed minced meat
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 1 TEASPOON medium hot mustard
  • 2 TABLESPOONS dried Italian herbs
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1/2 TABLESPOON demerara sugar
  • 1 TABLESPOON Tomato paste
  • 1/2 can(s) (200 g) chunky tomatoes
  • 4 Eggs (size S)
  • 4 discs (10 g each) smoked streaky bacon
  • 100 g Lamb's lettuce
  • 175 g beetroot (cooked and peeled)
  • 3-4 Tbsp white balsamic vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Olive oil

Directions

    Soak rolls in water. Peel and grate one onion. Peel garlic and chop very finely. Peel 2 onions and cut into fine rings. Peel 1 onion and chop finely. Clean and wash the spring onions and cut them into fine rings. Knead minced, squeezed out roll, egg, mustard, 1 tablespoon herbs, grated onion and garlic.

    Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika. Form 4 round flat cakes out of the mincing mixture, place them side by side on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for about 25 minutes. In the meantime, heat oil in a pan, fry onion rings until translucent, remove from the pan and set aside. Fry the onion cubes in the frying fat until translucent, sprinkle with brown sugar. Stir in tomato paste and 1 tablespoon of herbs, sweat briefly, add tomatoes and simmer at medium heat for about 8 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika. Keep warm. Take the flat cake out of the oven, spread tomato sauce on it, press a hollow in the middle with a tablespoon, spread onion rings and spring onions on the tomato sauce. Beat the eggs, slide 1 egg into each well. Bake at the same temperature for 15-18 minutes. In the meantime clean and wash the lettuce and drain well. Cut the beetroot into thin slices.

Beat the eggs, slide 1 egg into each well. Bake at the same temperature for 15-18 minutes. In the meantime clean and wash the lettuce and drain well. Cut the beetroot into thin slices. Mix vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar. Fold in olive oil. Mix salad and beetroot. Pour the vinaigrette over the salad. Drain bacon in a pan. Remove the pizzas from the oven and garnish each with a slice of bacon. Add salad
