Melon salad with turkey strips

Ingredients

  • 350 g Turkey escalope
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sunflower oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 (approx. 2,2 kg/ 1/3 750 g) medium-sized watermelon
  • 300 g Strawberries
  • 1 (approx. 350 g) Rocket salad
  • 1/2 Orange
  • 125 g Schmand
  • 1/8 l Buttermilk
  • 30-40 g Honey

Directions

    Wash the turkey escalopes, dab dry and cut into strips. Heat oil in a pan and fry the turkey strips for 4-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and remove. Leave to cool. Meanwhile cut a third out of the melon and use the remaining melon for other purposes.

    Remove the flesh from the third of the melon with a knife and remove the seeds. Dice the fruit flesh. Clean, wash, dab dry and halve the strawberries. Clean and wash the romaine lettuce and let it drain well. Put a few small leaves aside for serving. Cut remaining lettuce into strips. Squeeze the orange (approx. 50 ml). Mix juice, sour cream, buttermilk and honey. Mix melon, turkey strips, strawberries and salad with the dressing.
