Melon and sheep's cheese salad with sweet and hot Asian sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 small Charentais or Cantaloup melon (about 800 g)
  • 300 g Sheep's cheese
  • 1 small red chili pepper
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Chilli sauce for chicken
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Orange juice
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Cider vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 4-5 Tbsp Oil
  • 150 g Salad mix

Directions

    Halve the melon and remove the seeds. Cut off the skin until the flesh is visible. Cut melon into thin slices. Crumble cheese. Wash and halve the chilli and remove the seeds. Chop chili finely.

    Mix chili sauce, chili, orange juice and apple vinegar and season to taste with salt, pepper and a little sugar. Fold in the oil. Mix salad, cheese, melon slices and vinaigrette. Season salad again and serve.
