Matjes with two different sauces

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 100 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 2 Apples
  • 1 Banana
  • 150 g Whole milk yoghurt
  • 4 TABLESPOONS mayonnaise
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS Curry
  • 500 g green beans
  • some stem(s) Savory
  • 12 Matie's fillets
  • 2 Onions

Directions

    Cut the bacon into small cubes and fry it in a pan without fat. Wash an apple, quarter it, remove the core and cut it into thin pieces. Peel a banana and cut it into thin slices.

    Mix yoghurt and mayonnaise and season with salt, pepper and curry. Fold in fruit. Clean and wash the beans and boil them in salted water for about 15 minutes. Pluck the savory from the stems and add.

    Rinse the maties briefly, dab dry and arrange on plates. Peel onions, cut into rings and spread on the matie fillets. Wash the rest of the apple and cut into thin slices. Put the beans and apple slices on the plates.

    Add the sauce. New potatoes taste good with it.
