Matjes with gnocchi beans pan

Ingredients

  • 200 g frozen green beans
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 can(s) (425 ml, 240 g) white beans
  • 1 big onion
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 600 g Gnocchi (cooling shelf)
  • some stem(s) Oregano, sage and basil
  • 4 double matje filets
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Basil Pesto
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon wedges

Directions

    Cook deep-frozen beans in a little salt water for 3-5 minutes, drain, rinse with cold water and drain. White beans can also be drained. Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat the oil in a pan.

    Fry the gnocchi in it until golden brown, turning frequently. Wash the herbs, dab dry, put something aside for garnishing, chop the rest. Sprinkle the herbs over the maties. Add the onion to the gnocchi and fry for 1-2 minutes.

    Add the beans and season everything with salt and pepper. Drizzle pesto over it. Serve the maties with the gnocchi. Garnish with put aside herbs and lemon.
