Mash plaice with shrimps and bacon beans

Ingredients

Servings: 2
  • 400 g Potatoes
  • 1 small onion
  • 400 g green beans
  • 2 discs Breakfast bacon (Bacon)
  • 3-4 Tbsp clarified butter
  • 2-3 stem(s) Parsley
  • 50 g North Sea crab meat
  • 2 (approx. 700 g) kitchen-ready plaice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Organic Lemon

Directions

    Peel, wash and slice the potatoes. Peel and chop the onion. Clean, wash and halve the beans. Cut bacon into strips.

    Fry the potatoes in 1-2 tbsp. hot clarified butter over medium heat for about 20 minutes until golden brown. In the meantime wash parsley, chop finely and mix with the crab meat. Wash the plaice and dab dry.

    Season with salt and pepper. Turn in flour.

    Cook the beans in boiling salted water for about 12 minutes. Fry bacon in a large pan without additional fat until crispy, remove. Heat 2 tablespoons of clarified butter in the pan. Fry the plaice for about 4 minutes on each side.

    Add the onion to the potatoes in the last few minutes and fry them. Season with salt and pepper.

    Drain the beans and mix with the bacon. Arrange the plaice, beans and fried potatoes. Sprinkle prawns over the plaice. Garnish with lemon.
