Prepare the pasta in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Peel onion and garlic and cut into fine cubes. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the meat for about 10 minutes while turning.
After about 6 minutes, stir in the onion, garlic and tomato paste and continue to fry. Add the tomatoes and chop coarsely with a spatula. Season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar. Drain the pasta and let it drain.
Mix the noodles and spinach minis and put them into a greased casserole dish. Spread the minced sauce on the noodles and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for approx. 35 minutes.
