Leek mince with sunflower seeds (Carne picada)

Ingredients

  • 4 Bread rolls from the previous day
  • 2 Leek sticks (leek)
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 100 g Sunflower seeds
  • 1.5 kg mixed minced meat
  • 3 Eggs
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated zest of 1 untreated lemon
  • 150 g Fresh cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp ground cilantro
  • 7-10 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 Meat Tomatoes
  • 2 stem(s) Parsley

Directions

    Soak the buns. Clean the leek, wash it and cut it into thin strips. Peel garlic and press it through a garlic press. or chop finely. Chop half of the sunflower seeds. Mix the minced meat, eggs, squeezed bread rolls, lemon peel, crème fraîche and the rest of the prepared ingredients.

    Season with salt, pepper and coriander. Divide into a large oiled casserole dish. Sprinkle parsley leaves and remaining sunflower seeds on top. Wash and slice the tomatoes and cover the minced dough with them. Cook the minced cake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ gas: level 2) for approx. 1 hour
