Peel and wash the kohlrabi and cut or slice them into thin slices. Peel and wash the potatoes and cut them into very thin slices. Layer kohlrabi and potatoes fan-shaped in a greased gratin dish. Season the cream with salt and pepper and pour over the cream
Bake gratin in a hot oven (electric cooker: 200 °C / convection oven: 175 °C / gas: level 3) for 45-50 minutes. Grate cheese. Sprinkle over the gratin 15 minutes before the end of the baking time
Wash the meat and pat dry. Heat oil in a pan (possibly a grill pan). Fry the meat for 2-3 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange everything and garnish if necessary
