Ingredients

  • 2 kg Kasseler on bone
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Honey
  • 1-2 red peppers
  • 7-10 Tbsp Steak pepper
  • 1 kg baby potatoes
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 3 Leek sticks (leek)
  • 2 can(s) (each 425 ml, 255 g) Kidney Beans
  • 1 can(s) (850 ml, 800 g) peeled tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chilli powder
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley

Directions

    Rinse the cured pork loin cold and pat dry. Place the roast on the grill over a fat pan of the oven and cook in the preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 1 hour. In between, brush with honey several times. Clean, wash and pat dry the peppers. Score lengthwise, remove seeds and chop.

    About 20 minutes before the end of the cooking time, sprinkle the roast with pepperoni and steak pepper. Peel potatoes and cut them in half lengthwise. Fry in 2 tablespoons of hot oil until 15-20 minutes golden brown. Season with salt. Clean, wash and cut the leek into pieces. Drain the beans, rinse with cold water and drain. Chop the tomatoes in the tin. Fry the leek in the remaining oil for about 3 minutes. Add the beans and tomatoes and simmer in an open pot for about 5 minutes while stirring. Season with salt, pepper and chili.
