Preheat the oven to 180°C. Beat the buttermilk together with the eggs and sugar until creamy. Mix the flour with the baking powder and also mix in with the hand mixer.
Line a baking tray with baking paper and pour the dough on top. Pour the mandarins over a sieve and spread them on the dough. Mix the coconut flakes with the sugar and flour and pour over the cake.
Bake in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
Now pour the liquid cream onto the still hot cake. If you want it not quite as juicy and less calorific, you can also use only 200 ml of cream.
