Italian tomato chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken breasts (300 g each)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cayenne pepper
  • 150 g Onions
  • 800 g Tomatoes
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 1/8 l Rosé wine
  • 2 can(s) (425 ml each) Italian beans
  • 1 potty Basil
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice

Directions

    Wash chicken breasts, pat dry and halve. Rub vigorously with salt and cayenne pepper. Peel and finely chop the onions. Clean, wash and slice the tomatoes. Cut the chilli into small rings.

    Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the chicken parts in it until golden brown, turning them over. Add onions, chilli and tomatoes. Deglaze with 200 ml water and wine. Cover the chicken and let it steam over medium heat for about 40 minutes.

    In the meantime, rinse and drain the beans. Wash the basil and chop finely, except for a few leaves for garnishing. Fold the beans and basil into the tomatoes for the last 10 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper and lemon juice and serve.
