Wash the chicken, dab dry and rub with salt and pepper. Put the chicken into a roaster and roast it in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 1 hour.
Peel and wash the potatoes. Wash lemon hot and rub dry. Peel garlic. Cut potatoes, lemon and garlic into slices. Add to the chicken after 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Wash the herbs, dab dry and chop except for something to garnish. Melt the fat, mix with breadcrumbs and herbs and after 45 minutes spread over the chicken and potatoes. Garnish with remaining herbs.
