Hearty pancake with chard

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 200 g Flour
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 1 (approx. 600 g) Swiss chard
  • 1 Onion
  • 8 TSP + 2 tablespoons oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 package (100 g) Bacon

Directions

    Mix flour, eggs, salt and milk with the whisk of the hand mixer to a smooth dough. Let it swell for about 15 minutes

    Clean the chard, cut leaves from the stems. Halve leaves, cut into strips, wash and drain. Peel and chop the onion

    Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a coated (22 cm Ø) Add 1/8 of the dough and fry over medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Halve the bacon slices crosswise. Lay 4-5 bacon halves flat on the still liquid dough. Turn the pancakes and fry for 3-4 minutes. Remove the finished pancakes and keep warm. Process the remaining dough with 1 teaspoon of oil each in the same way

    In the meantime, heat 2 tablespoons of oil in another pan or in a saucepan. Sauté the onion cubes in it. Add chard and approx. 100 ml water and steam covered for approx. 10 minutes. Season chard with salt, pepper and a little sugar. Put about chard on each pancake, fold it over and arrange on plates
