Mix flour, egg yolk, sour cream, baking powder and gin with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Then knead with your hands to a smooth dough. Roll out thinly (1 mm) on a floured work surface.
Cut out rectangles (7 x 4 cm) with a cookie cutter. Cut approx. 5.5 cm into each rectangle in the middle. Pull one end of the dough through the slit. Heat the oil in a wide saucepan. Fry 5 bows in the hot oil until golden brown.
Lift out with a skimmer and let it drip off on kitchen paper. Dust with icing sugar.
