Ham and cheese croques

  • 1 Rye meter bread (approx. 500 g)
  • 100 g Herb Butter
  • 200 g Hard cheese in thin slices (e.g. Comté)
  • 150 g cooked ham in wafer-thin slices
  • 7-10 Tbsp some rosemary

    Cut a wide wedge lengthwise out of the bread (if necessary, cut the wedge into pieces and serve with the minced meat). Spread the bread with herb butter and put half of the cheese slices in

    Loosely roll up the ham and the remaining cheese and spread it on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/recirculating air: 175 °C/gas: level 3) for approx. 10 minutes until golden brown. Garnish with rosemary
