  • 20 Scampi without shell and gut
  • 1 Stick of lemongrass (min. length 15 cm)
  • 1 fresh garlic clove cut into 16 wafer-thin slices
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cajun spice mix
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Juice of 1 lemon

Directions

    Remove 4 segments from the lemongrass stick and cut each segment in the middle lengthwise 3 cm, so that the taste can transfer to the scampi.

    Now skewer 5 scampi and 4 slices of garlic alternately onto a lemongrass stem.

    Season the finished lemongrass skewers with Cajun spice and salt, grill on a hot charcoal grill for 1 minute on each side and sprinkle with some lemon juice before eating.
