Gratin of spiral noodles, curd, peas and ham

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 250 g Spiral noodles
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 150 g Carrots
  • 1 big onion
  • 1 TABLESPOON Butter
  • 150 g frozen peas
  • 250 g cooked ham in thicker slices
  • 250 g Low-fat curd
  • 150 g Fresh cream
  • 2 Eggs
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper from the mill
  • 1 TEASPOON Thyme
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

    Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the package instructions, rinse with ice-cold water and drain very well.

    Peel the carrots and onion, cut them into small cubes and fry them in hot butter over a mild heat for five minutes.

    Blanch the peas briefly in boiling salted water, rinse them in ice cold so that they retain their beautiful green colour, and drain well. Cut the ham into small cubes.

    Grease a casserole dish. Mix the low-fat curd with the crème fraîche and the eggs in a large bowl. Season well with salt, pepper and thyme. Turn all ingredients in it, fill into the casserole dish and cook in the oven preheated to 180 °C for 30 minutes.

    Serve immediately hot from the oven.
