Gnocchi with pumpkin and bacon in sage butter

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 packs (à 400 g) Gnocchi (chiller cabinet)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 glass (720 ml) pickled pumpkin in pieces refined with honey
  • 2 small red onions
  • 50 g Breakfast bacon in slices
  • 1 TEASPOON Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1-2 stem(s) Sage
  • 100 g Butter

Directions

    Prepare the gnocchi in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet, then drain. Drain the pumpkin in a sieve. Wash the sage, shake dry and pluck the leaves from the stalk.

    Peel onions and cut them into thin slices. Cut the bacon into small pieces. Heat oil in a large coated pan. Fry gnocchi, bacon, onion slices and pumpkin in it for 2-3 minutes and season with salt and pepper.

    In the meantime melt butter in a pot. Add sage and let the butter get slightly nutty. Pour sage butter over the gnocchi. Arrange on plates.
