Gnocchi with meat sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1/2 bunch Sage
  • 1 (250 g) Courgette
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 500 g mixed minced meat
  • 1 TABLESPOON Tomato paste
  • 500 g chunky tomatoes
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 2 packages (400 g each) Gnocchi
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 150 g cherry tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper

Directions

    Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Wash sage, dab dry, put some leaves aside for garnishing. Chop the rest finely. Wash, clean and slice the zucchini diagonally. Heat oil, fry minced meat in it.

    Add onion, garlic, zucchini and sage and fry for 1-2 minutes. Add tomato paste and sweat briefly. Add chunky tomatoes and stock, simmer for 5 minutes. Cook gnocchi in boiling salted water for 2-3 minutes until they float on top. Wash, clean and drain the tomatoes. Add them to the minced meat sauce and warm them up. Season the sauce with salt and pepper. Drain the gnocchi and let them drain. Serve the sauce with the gnocchi.
