Homemade fries with feta cheese dip

Ingredients

  • 600 g new potatoes
  • 4-5 Tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 bunch Chives
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 150 g Sheep or feta cheese
  • 300 g Whole milk yoghurt
  • 2 Tsp Aiwar ) ((spicy-hot spice paste)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 big tomatoes
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • 1 baby onion
  • 2 TABLESPOONS White wine vinegar
  • 1 TEASPOON Spice mix Mexican style
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chives

Directions

    Wash potatoes thoroughly, dab dry and cut into thick sticks. Heat 2-3 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Fry the potatoes for about 18 minutes, turning occasionally. Wash the chives and cut into small rolls. Peel and chop the garlic.

    Crush cheese finely with a fork. Mix everything with yoghurt and aiwar. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Wash tomatoes and cucumber, dice roughly. Peel onion, dice coarsely. Mix vinegar, salt and pepper. Beat 2 tablespoons of oil into it. Mix everything except for a little onion. Season the potatoes with the seasoning mixture.
