Clean the chilli, cut lengthwise, remove seeds, wash and finely chop. Mix butter with chilli, salt and paprika and season to taste.
Wash the potatoes thoroughly. Cut the potatoes one after the other into approx. 1 cm thick slices, spread some butter between the slices and put the potatoes together again. Wrap each potato firmly in aluminium foil.
Put the potatoes between the glowing coal and grill them for about 30 minutes.
